we had a great time at the wellington! the bed was super comfy, and there was a lovely welcome bag with treats which was v nice. location was perfect for visiting bristol n close to all the shops n stuff. bathroom was nice and warm too, which was awesome! we enjoyed some really tasty breakfast, for sure!
but our room was cold when we got there, took a while to heat up. also, there were some noisy guests outside our door late at night which was a bit annoying.

The modern en-suite had a large walk-in shower while the shower could have been cleaner.

Modern decor, spacious bathroom, effective air conditioning
Cleaning needs attention, especially in high traffic areas!!! The noise from the outside seating keeps you up late into the night!!! Improve communication regarding meal serving times. I missed dinner and breakfast due to discrepancies!!!

missingWrote a review on Sept 07spacious roomquality amenitiesoverpriced starterscold foodpoor service
The spacious double room featured a well-equipped tea and coffee station, complete with complimentary biscuits and quality toiletries. the dining experience fell short, with starters that felt overpriced and a lack of attentive service during a slow dinner. While enjoying the massive bathroom and a delightful shower was a highlight, it was disappointing to receive cold food during a family meal, detracting from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The food at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise, especially the delicious roast chicken I had. I loved relaxing by the cozy fireplace and enjoyed a nice evening stroll in the nearby garden. The only downside was that the staircase carpet could use a bit of an upgrade. 😊

The location of the Wellington is fantastic, making it easy to visit my son nearby. The room felt cozy, with nice decor and good shower facilities. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Emma, who made me feel welcome after a flight delay. One downside was the noise from the pub, especially when it stays open late. Breakfast options were good, but I experienced some inconsistencies in temperature and service during busy times. Some dust on surfaces in the room was noticeable, which detracted a bit from the experience. Although the pub atmosphere is lively, some clearer information during check-in about fire exits would be helpful.
